My house through S. Pas. back to my house.
Tried to go down to the Rose Bowl after work to ride with Curtis, but I found my front tire to be flat. After trying to put one of Curtis’ tubes in my rim and pinching it in two places, I decided to go home and patch the original tube which was also the wrong size. At least it held up through two rides already! I did my first patch kit experiment and it came out all good. I got more experience taking the tire off the rim and not pinching the tube with the tools and all that. I got on my bike and rode around S. Pas. I was really flying. This was the fastest I’ve pushed my bike yet. I’ve gained more confidence through the last couple rides and feel much more comfortable standing up and pumping it. Some Asian dudes with their spandex came up behind me and were all like, “hey.” I said “hi,” thankfully I was doing the cool no hands stretch your back out ride..oh yeah!!
