6/18/07 - 7:00 pm, ride me and Curtis
My house to Curtis’ house, through Alhambra to San Manrino to Videoteque back to my house.
This was a nice ride from my house to Curtis’ through San Marino. Riding into San Marino from Alhambra was the difference btw straight up LA high population density chinatown and what looked to be some suburban road in South Carolina. I felt like I passed into another dimension. I didn’t even notice the SUVs pulling up on me, because they were hybrid Lexus’. We rode into a Cemetery off Roses, but the actual grounds were locked up. It was eerily quiet; not because it was a cemetery, but more that it was just extremely quiet for LA. You couldn’t hear any cars as well as the fact there were no freeways around. Pretty cool. We rode past Huntington and took Monterey into S. Pas. Monterey going west is pretty nice. We stopped by Buster’s and I rented Entourage from Videotheque. Overall the ride was a lot of suburban goodness. Always relaxing.
